Ahmed Bouajila, Eng., M.Sc.

Mr. Bouajila is a senior engineer with more than 30 years of extensive and cross-disciplinary background and experience (realisation, coordination and management) in mineral processing R & D, process development, technical services, testing and engineering. Focusing on technology transfer of innovative solutions to operating plants, he worked closely with industrial plants.

His expertise covers grinding, flotation, physical separation and extractive metallurgy as applied for base and precious metals, iron ores and industrial minerals. His skills also include team management and coaching, operational and strategic planning, corporative vision and strong understanding of mineral industry needs and processing problem solving.   Being involved in many mining projects at different study levels, Mr. Bouajila is capable of phase management, critical and due diligent review and de-risking efforts, signing-off as QP for many projects.

Mr. Bouajila is holder of phosphate flotation patent and author/co-author of more than 25 scientific papers in metallurgy and ore processing.  Mr. Bouajila is member of Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and holder of a certificate in project management from Université de Québec a Trois Rivières.  Mr. Bouajila is also acting as a board member and Vice President R&D and Technology transfer for Central America Nickel since May 2019.
