Fariba Safizadeh is an experienced scientist with a PhD in Materials and Metallurgical engineering from Laval University and a Master in Energy and Materials Science from INRS. Fariba was graduated as a chemist with a Bachelor of applied Chemistry from K.N. Toosi University of technology, Tehran, Iran. With over 10 years of R&D experience in several projects financed by industrial corporations such as Hydro-Québec, Barrick Gold, Zinc refinery of Valleyfield and AREVA, Fariba has been involved in many subjects, at renowned universities and research centers such as INRS (Varennes, Qc., Canada), Institut de Chimie des Milieux et Matériaux de Poitiers (Université de Poitiers, France), extractive metallurgy and corrosion laboratory (Laval university, Canada), and the Consortium de Recherches Minérales-COREM (Québec, Canada).
